This weekends FREE “How to” Art demonstrations at the DANIEL SMITH Art Supply Stores:

 

Seattle Store:  Sunday, Darlene Lucas will be demonstrating Collagraph printmaking  and how to bring texture into your Art.  Darlene often incorporates different papers into her watercolor paintings, “She layers various rice and handmade papers to develop textures and create movement from transparent to opaque.”  So come on Sunday and get some new ideas how you might use Collographic techniques in your own work

 Bellevue Store: Saturday, Ann Breckon will be demonstrating how to paint Lighthouses in Watercolor.  Ann will show how she paints the sky, beach grasses, and captures the Lighthouse itself, and will focus on particular aspects that the audience is interested in.  Ann will also be teaching a Workshop on Painting Lighthouses in Watercolor on October 25th.  This FREE demo is a great preview to what Ann’s workshop would be like.
